As it’s been written and said many times recently, going from NY to Florida is as close as you can get in the present day to what it must’ve felt like leaving East Germany and going to into free West Germany.

It's hard to describe the feeling of spending my first night outside the city on the way down here. It was like escaping from something horrible, and that was before this lockdown insanity.
Friend of mine just moved from NYC to Miami last year and he feels the same way.
I'm in a blue state but am headed to Florida for 2 weeks in just 2 weeks. I can't freaking wait to live like a free human being again. It'll be the first time I've left since the start of this insanity, and I anticipate having a hard time returning.
The idiots around here wear two masks alone in their car and literally require a straight jacket if they see someone in public without one on. I don't see how we ever return to normal with this many morons about.
Which county are you visiting? Here in Pinellas we still have a mask mandate along with Orange County (Orlando), Palm Beach, Sarasota (but not the city), and a few others.
Today is move in day for me in FL from VA, you better believe I'm voting conservative down the ticket and will be voting in every primary. I'm also planning to see what I can do to get involved at the local level and need to find a good gun club to join.
Florida’s businesses are still pretty cucked though. Then there is Hillsborough County (Tampa) revoking liquor licenses because they see a few people not wearing masks, not even asking the owners whether or not the patron of the business said whether or not they were exempt.
DeSantis just voided all fines for businesses that violated "local" covid bullshit rules. And the local douchebags can no longer fine a business for saying fuck you to their bullshit
After DeSantis’ latest order coupled with lawsuits from local businesses, Commie Kriseman is backing down from revoking liquor licenses. He still has new evil plans for code enforcement but with DeSantis forgiving all past and future fines, local “mask mandates” have no teeth. I live in Pinellas and will continue to go to St. Pete with no mask. Plenty of businesses do not comply, I keep a list.

Agree! And it was announced before they supposedly had finished counting the votes, as we had to wait for them to tell us the presidential winner. No way Cooper legally won. They need to completely audit those ballots.
