First off, no conservative person I know watches CNN, so for this to be a retaliation for him going on CNN to bash Abbott, is not likely.
Second, the food there sucks. Its the reason we only went once, and never again. So people being mad enough to vandalize his business because they have to wear masks or social distance while eating there, makes no damn sense.
Third, this business is built into an apartment complex, next to a suburb that is primarily only college students. His whole client base is college kids who attend UTSA, which is right next door. Regular people aren't going out of there way to come eat there. In fact, when me and the wife went on a Saturday, it felt like we were the only adults there. (Over 25)
So none of this makes sense. I hope they do an investigation and find out that it was the owner or someone he paid to do this. Would not surprise me in the slightest.
Agreed on the UTSA proximity point. The only other ramen spots I knew of in town were also on the NW side of town, and afaik, they also had a bigger clientele. I had heard of this place, but there are larger targets for any local racists. This has hoax all over it.
Not likely one of us, more likely leftists doing what they can to drive the false narrative that Trump supporters are attacking Asians.
This is what I'm thinking.
