The standard should be the standard. In matters of life and death, I do not want someone next to me who got a participation trophy for trying hard.

And yes, I am a female and in my youth might have only met the standard in running. The females who meet the standard should get the glory for being exceptional. This equal outcome crap is going to ruin the country and everything in it.
