Congrats, sadly I would have to evict any tenants to "renovate" a clearly "unsafe" house. And unfortunately there would be a fire, probably from the previously mentioned unsafeness, that would destroy the property leaving me with a fat stack of insurance dollars.

Seriously, you want a housing crisis? This is how you get a housing crisis. Landlords aint gonna fix so much as a leaking tap for scumbags that don't pay rent and will do anything they can think of to get them the fuck out and make that property usable in any way they can.
