No doubt the vents were killing people. What was up with that? Remember how crazy the media were going over vents?

I remember them pushing it on Trump, making him GURANTEE that not one single American would not get a vent. They were trying so hard to get a gotcha on him about these vents and were salivating at the thought of people dying because they didn't have a vent and how they could blame it on Trump.

It was a really odd full court press on these vents. Like if you got COVID just stick em on a vent, everyone gets a vent. Someone posted on here the vents became like those magical pods from Star Trek that could heal people. Like some sort of future tech with medical powers that would cure away COVID, you just need the vent, hook everyone up.

Seems like it was pushed because the media thought no way Trump could get enough vents so lets corner him on this and if we use up all the vents and people die we could blame it on Trump.

That was the original primary treatment for the virus in the beginning before they found out the ventilators were actually killing people. Then the media quietly shifted direction and didn't really mention them again or the harm they did which boosted the death rates during the learning curve. We had to pretend the virus really was that deadly rather than admit we didn't know wtf to do and killed people while we learned. If this crap would have been honest from the start and people ADMITTED it was just a new strain of flu (rather than some turbo alienesque supervirus with new rules), people wouldn't have died from preventable means.

This is because that was the treatment used for SARS-COV-1. Since the viruses have nearly identical RNA, it was thought that the "disease" would be the same.

It wasn't a conspiracy, it was just incorrect

I was mainly pointing out that there was a learning curve in dealing with the virus and people died as a result of that rather than the virus itself. Hiding it is the part I view as conspiracy on their part. If the media had been honest about that being a significant factor in deaths early on, people may not have panicked as hard. It was human error rather than virus lethality that was responsible in the beginning but people still don't know.
