Wow. Who knew me stating that I'm trying to wake up boomers that I know personally as evidenced by my use of >>I<< in my original comment to realize the shitty situation at hand but who literally do not want to rock the boat because they're set for life... then pointing out the reality of the situation and stating very clearly that it was not their fault but the fault of a shitty retirement system that locks people into this position... to which you suddenly decided to respond to me as a personal attack... apparently that makes me an asshole in victim-hood. Just, wow. And to call me a selfish ignorant POS... oh the irony. If you're a boomer, you're doing a bang up job proving the OP's assertions. Way to go.
I have never been a leftist. I posted a comment and then for some strange reason you grabbed the post, shoved it up your ass and proceeded to whine about it. The image of someone being cozy and sucking up a milk bottle to remain complacent clearly never occurred to you within the context of my comment. No, instead you decided to act like a leftist millennial, ignore the entire comment, get offended over the use of a word and then proceed to have a pissy fit over your offendedness. Keep going though, you're doing great. 👏👏👏
Did you even read my original comment!? I never did that, at all. You apparently assumed as much though.
I can't get boomers to wake up because they're enjoying their retirement now.
I... as in me. Not anyone else. ME. I can't get boomers to wake up. That's boomers I speak with. And the ones that I do talk with are exactly what I speak about in my comment. They don't care about what's happening and/or don't want to come to grips with the reality of the situation the country is in. As long as they continue to get their money, that's all they worry about.
Hell, I even specifically stated at the end of my comment that there are indeed based boomers out there fighting to stop the insanity that is happening. I don't know any personally, but I know they're out there.
So no, I never painted all boomers as one big group nor did I ever blame them for the situation at hand. And in what world is simply pointing out and getting boomers to think "oh crap, the same system that's giving me this retirement may very well be gone for my future generations" is seen as "gibs me" and entitlement???
You went right off the deep end as if you were a millennial who assumes an internet comment is personally about them. But hey, I can't stop you from being offended, so if that's what you want, then continue to do so.

Well said from a solid rep of the "Gibs Me" generation. Were you a "Bernie Bro" before the left shit canned him?
