After Hank Aaron, I'm heartbroken to hear of this. The man was a warrior. The middleweights in his era were perhaps the greatest collection of boxers in history. At least once a year I've watched round 1 of of the famous Hagler/Hearns fight. Widely regarded as the greatest round of boxing in history. If you haven't seen it, it is widely available on the interwebzes. Very nice to hear Thomas Hearns hinting that they became friends after all was over.
