The Secretary of State’s office secretly recorded the conversation, mischaracterized its contents to The Washington Post and then attempted to delete the recording. It was recently discovered in a laptop “trash” folder as part of an open records search. (twitter.com)

If Trump weren't a public figure, he would have a pretty winnable defamation lawsuit against the media and the GA SOS. If we were to find out which person in the SOS office gave this spin on what was really said to the media, they'd be sued into oblivion.
