I swear, every single leftist I've gotten into a debate on with the 2nd amendment says this argument.

They'll acknowledge that the 2nd amendment was created to protect against a tyrannical government. But their reasoning is that the military has tanks and jets and an AR-15 is no match against those, so in that case an AR-15 is useless against tyrannical governments, so we should just turn them in.

Seriously, how low IQ does one have to be to see the logic in that?
