Possibly. When the storm hit, Ivanka wanted Trump to withdraw Kavanaugh's nomination to SCOTUS and he wouldn't do it. He stuck by Kavanaugh's side. When it really mattered, Kavanaugh couldn't even be bothered to do his job. Point being, Trump thinks for himself.
