This whole designer mask thing is really not a good idea. It just turns the whole hysteria into a fashion trend that people now are psychologically attached to.
Think of the messaging here.
“Decorate your muzzle, slaves! Express yourself! Are you the kind of slave who follows the arrows on the floor in a wild and funky way, then guess what? You need a totally unique and funky muzzle (mass-produced in China) to express your unique and funky personality! Zing! Who let the dogs out? Am I right? Here. What’s your favorite sport? You like soccer? I got masks with soccer balls on them. What’s that? No, you cannot go play soccer at the park, soccer is banned. So are parks. We’ve been over this.”
At least the cheap disposable medical masks look temporary. Even pulling those ones off feels less like an act of domestic terrorism than removing the cloth and designer kind.
