The real issue here is why are so many parents wanting to send their children to government indoctrination centers every day? They learn some numbers, a little of this and a little of that. Public school doesn't educate anymore. Students graduate and are still useless in the world, unless they learned skills at home.

This 100%. I understand there isn't a choice for some, but when I see the amount of luxury cars at the local public school's car line, I wonder WTF these people are doing?!

There's always a choice, it's just a matter of priorities. We're in the shape we're in as a nation because we have focused on careers, and made family an afterthought. Ship the kids off to school at 7am, they get home around 4, you get home around 6, and maybe you see them for four hours out of twenty-four. How do you install values and skills in a child like that? See, I figured this out when I was 17. I went into business for myself, so that should I get married and have children, I can make time for them as I please. The family is the prize, the job is just a means of providing for them.
