The study found that 85 percent of customers want to see tamper-evident labels on the food to discourage delivery drivers from tasting their chow before it reaches their door.
Yesterday I ordered a case of 12 tacos with no lettuce. After waiting 25 MINUTES in the drive thru, every single one had lettuce. You have NO indoor diners (another discussion worth having), you have one job for fucks sake.
And they are demanding more money. The only fast food I fuck with anymore is McDonald's. The taste of their Mac sauce and their signature coke. Sometimes it's all that can hit the spot
Perhaps it’s in case the order is being picked up for delivery to the actual consumer, and they want the consumer to think the delivery driver hasn’t molested the contents? idk
This is to protect all their horrible sandwich makers / line workers who always get it wrong.
Their menu should just be "food." You want food? Here's food. That's about as close as they come. Except when what they give is ... debatably food. They might could charge extra for that.
The closest Taco Bell is 20 minutes away from me, which sucks, because it's cheep and tasty.
I love their soft tacos. You get a well balanced meal, and if you ask for double meat, double cheese and use the spicy salsa you won't even realize you've also eaten a salad.
Cheap and tasty it is! Almost doesn't matter what you order. Sometimes they even get it right! Easier to check that when you're inside. But if they seal everything and they won't fix it after you've broken the seal?
Instantly improves their bottom line, and they have no pressure to get orders right. A nifty arrangement, for them.
Did they also hand you your food using a plastic tote so that they didnt have to reach out the window with their arm? (I love Taco Bell, but they have silly people working there who think that's gonna protect people from the rona)
I rip that shit open while I sit at the window because every single time they thought 2 packets of Diablo sauce was going to service my order of 3 tacos.
grub hub and uber eats love to sample the deliveries. They are trying to keep those fat slobs out of your food, not save you from Covid.
Yup: More than 1 in 4 delivery drivers eat your food order: study
Yeah, everybody beat me to it.
I usually don't have issues with these guys, but every now and then you get an idiot.
Great...now I have to tear that off to find what mystery item I got and what they forgot.
hahaha, mystery item.

It’s so you know your driver didn’t mess with your food.... nothing to do with COVID.

It's 100% this. I use to do Door dash .
This isn't for covid lol.
If you break that seal, you can't return it.

Your definition of salad makes me sad.
But you have to break the seal to realize they completely fucked up your order....
Sorry. I'm old enough to remember that rule for CD's and software.
Hit it with a heat gun/hair dryer for a few seconds, peels right off.
it's there to protect you ... from eating it.

Sticker was put on after the preparer licked the taco when he saw you posted here.
This sticker is really academic considering I open each and every Taco Bell hot sauce packet with my mouth.
naughty-naughty sneaky covid

I need 3 sauces per taco guys, minimum
Time to switch. I really hope that Arby's doesn't get 'woke'.
