Yeah increase taxes for businesses and people making $400K+ per year.

That was the problem with the GOP in 2017. They hiked taxes up slightly to lower than $400K earners and drastically cut taxes for people who made $400k+

I'm sure the businesses are just going to eat those losses. No way they're going to pass the increase on to their customers, certainly not those making under $400k.

Presidents dont raise nor lower taxes, legislatures do.

Unless the Dems blow up the filibuster, I dont see this passing the Senate. Even Manchin (a Dem) has balked, so no way does it get any GOP support.

If it doesnt pass Congress, Xiden cant do shit.

I saw somewhere talk of ramming this through using reconciliation, but I dont believe a sweeping tax reform could be done using that method.

No, this is all on purpose. They know exactly what they're doing and we know exactly why they're doing it.

This tax plan was put out back in July of last year. Nothing should come as a surprise to anyone at this point, and count your blessing that the CCP isn’t landing on our shores.

Gas going up is already basically a tax increase on everything. Hope everyone enjoys having less money.
