Yeah, I saw the whole video. I still think the cop handled it poorly. It's called being tactful. Do you want to talk about morality? Well, then that cop is no better than the BLM thugs that attack similar soft targets in the name of "justice". But I'm sure he felt like a big shot tackling an unarmed older lady. Here's something to think about: Who creates our laws? Answer: Politicians. The same Politicians that have chosen to barricade themselves behind the fence in Constantine wire and stand in fear of their constituents rather than listen to them. The same politicians that are going behind our back and slowly removing our Constitutional rights behind our backs, without consulting the people they represent first. The same politicians who are more interested in making laws to protect the rights of fucked up major corporate organizations such Bank of America but will turn around and strip us of our 2A rights and tell us we can't defend our own homes against an intruder. The same politicians that have been protecting the illegal activities that allow rioters have caused billions of dollars to continue to go free. So go ahead continue to be a good little sheep and obey the "law" and let us see how that works out for you when these same cops come to hunt you down when the law is turned against every conservative and Trump supporter out there.
None of your rant, a large portion of which, I would agree with, has anything to do with the fact that this was an issue of private property rights and someone resisting lawful orders. The woman experienced the consequences her actions created. I get the refusal to wear a mask. But once a property owner, or their delegate, asks you to leave the premises, you’re putting yourself out on a limb. If they request the aid of law enforcement and you refuse to comply, you’re pretty much cutting the limb out from underneath you.
I get that you don’t like the result here, but that’s no reason to encroach upon what is a fundamental, essential liberty. Liberty doesn’t always guarantee a result we like, that’s the consequence of liberty. You asking that private property rights be rescinded or ignored because of this shitty result is no different than people on the left asking that Second Amendment rights be rescinded or ignored because people use guns to commit suicide or accidentally shoot themselves.
