>The people who read/report my charts/data/x-rays/MRIs etc are another matter, and unfortunately we don't get much say in that. I am not comfortable At All with someone in another country analyzing my tests and reporting their diagnosis back to my Doctor in their second language (or at least I hope there are not any more layers of translation than necessary.) Stranger still, the local technician doing the tests/X-rays often knows right away what is going on (internally) but is "not allowed" to discuss it with me (saying it's policy to make you wait for the opinion of the outsourced "experts.") I appreciate my Dr. being transparent that was going on (for many years apparently) but only because I asked (I assumed the tests were read/diagnosed locally which is apparently no longer the case in the Age Of Outsourcing, in my area anyway.)
Screw that! All my Doctors are Made In USA© and always have been. (Accept no substitutes!)
