I’m about half way through the book, Unmasked. So far its a recap of all the riots and violence that went on for days and months. Andy was the only reporter really following the story every day. I guess I had become numb to the violence after a while. I know my Seattle local news barely covered it. The biggest thing was that the county DA was releasing the rioters within hours of their arrests and then dropping the charges. Compare that with what is happening in DC. The book is trending towards talking about the collusion with the terrorists, leftist governments, Hollywood, and academia and comparing it with Maos Great Leap Forward.

I read the whole book but i may have to reread it again to get a more clearer mind in it. It's a good book to get yourself introduced into the whole antifa phenomenon. However, for people like me, who already did their research, you learn nothing new. Though he does put a few names, which is really awesome. I am also glad he mentionned Secoriea Turner. Seriously, that was sad.

That little girl was arguably the biggest hook for me to keep reading. My niece is around her age, and I would be going on a rampage if something like that happened to her.

Families do not demand and enforce justice anymore. Think about the HBO show, The Sopranos. One of the themes that drew people into that show was Family Retribution.

If you accidentally killed Tony Soprano's kid in a riot, what the fuck would happen to you? His whole family would come for you and kill the fuck out of you, that's what.

And everyone would relish in that familial justice. People love an Avenger. People want someone to stand up. They need someone to stand up. Sooner or later it will happen and then all the rules will be out the window and shit will get very real for all sides of the conflict.

The thing about revenge is that it doesn't just stop after you get your justice. They'll come back to avenge after you avenged, then you'll avenge again and they'll avenge again...

Revenge, unfortunately, must always be massively disproportionate if it is to be "effective". The act of revenge must be carried out with such reckless disregard for fairness, logic, or reason, that the mere thought of re-angering at any level would be madness itself.

"Justice" doesn't exist in "effective" revenge, and "effectiveness" doesn't exist in "just" revenge. You will notice the Aztecs are not trying to get revenge on Spain.

The alternative is worse. Right now one segment of society breaks every law and every moral code with impunity while simultaneously punishing anyone who so much as questions their embrace of evil and criminal behavior.

We aren't getting out of this by pretending that primarying rino republicans is going to make a damn bit of difference.

Never watched The Sopranos. I was pretty young when it came out. Might have to make it a point to sit down and watch it.

Stop referencing fictional crap.

"Fictional crap" can have deep truths and meaning behind them. Being a work of fiction is not the same as being a lie. Watch Jordan Peterson lecture about "Pinocchio."
