Absolutely heartbreaking, and one of my greatest fears, to wind up in some fetid elderly home under the "care" of underpaid, unempathetic staff waiting for me to hurry up and die. This is one thing I'll never understand about Western culture, and why we abandon our elderly to these glorified morgues.

You act like this isn't common in the medical profession. If you aren't a VIP you most likely will be neglected and suffer malpractice. Just accept it peasant
