If people still exist on this earth, certainly the United States will still be known. We were the first to put a man on the moon, first in flight, first to make a Nuke and use it, helped end ww2, helped invent the internet, electricity, the automobile, etc. our contributions towards progress are far too immense to ever be completely whipped away. Look at all the random stuff we know from cultures who existed over 2,000 years ago and that was well before the printing press was invented and most people could read or write. It would be extremely far fetched to believe that countries today won’t be known much farther into the future.
Nothing is perfect. Doesn’t change the advancements we have made though, just means there will be less of them moving forward.
