I left the military because of the way it was ran under Obama, a bunch of limp noodles. I wanted to serve my whole life, but I could only do 30. I didn't re-up after my four year term because of the failure of the military to actually be a military.

Do you know how little of that goes to the Marines? Seriously, that's the biggest joke in the military, how little the Marines get. They literally get hand-me-downs from the Army (like their tanks). The Marine Corps is tiny. Their mission is being reigned back in to what they exist for: beach landings. MBT's like the Abrams cannot do beach landings on anything but large hovercraft and giant ships that run ashore. So if you've already got that much security, it's because you already landed a considerable number of Marines, so you might as well just have the Army drive their much nicer tanks ashore at that point.
