Because Trump was a threat to their bloated burecracy and foreign occupations. That’s why Mattis turned against him. Trump may have rebuilt our military’s killing capacity by way of equipment upgrades and saving our troops from endless foreign wars (he tried anyway) but he was cutting into their bread and butter, which is why so many top neo-con military brass don’t support him. All this is fueled by global bankers and war profiteering.
