His picture only bring joy to me, irrespective of the situation under which it was taken. It was a time of hope, he made me believe that there is still good in the world, things could get better, we were still string.

Yes, but now it's gone forever and we don't know how much suffering is in store for this once great nation.

True, but he is not responsible for it... He represents good time... It's like you and everyone around you is drowning, titanic sank, but you see a picture of you highschool sweetheart, reminding you of the best time you ever had...

Yes, maybe nostalgia is a better word than sadness, but nostalgia has a strong hint of sadness.
