Afraid you are right. I experienced it up close and personal for 30 years. But It's the OFFICERS doing the most damage to the military. And they have INFECTED the senior enlisted ranks with their WOKE bullshit.
As a former Air Force avionics tech, this is the most likely outcome of this situation.
There will be a medley of E4s and below (maybe even an E5) that are gonna have the book thrown at them after internal investigations conclude this is a maintenance mishap after the brass was fucking around and ignoring the laws of aerodynamics to impress his butterbar buddies. "Failure to follow technical data" is practically a blanket punishment for this kind of shit.
Ya, believe it or not, the electronics package can’t be replaced so the planes really can’t be made without reverse engineering! When their gone, there gone!
For security reasons, all of the electronics tooling was destroyed... there are replacement parts but that inventory will dwindle until it can be replaced. Then I’m guessing the fleet will be retired!
Must be those diversity and inclusiveness hires slacking on maintenance.
You have no idea how correct you are.
Wait unitl the good air traffic controllers start retiring and only the diversity hires are left. It's happening.
No, I'm pretty sure a lot of enlisted folks are going to be fired/ criminal charges will be filed Officers will not be touched.

Flying has always been risky business, especially flight training. People do get killed while training in the military.
Sure, but it's a lot less risky when you fix and maintain the aircraft properly.
And expensive.... why do i get the feeling we have all the best equiptment to fight yesterdays war, and now we are working on maternity flight suits!
Good instincts!

Correct, these are priceless irreplaceable national assets. Paid for by the taxpaying slaves and treated like toys by the woke 325th Fighter Wing.
Why?
For security reasons, all of the electronics tooling was destroyed... there are replacement parts but that inventory will dwindle until it can be replaced. Then I’m guessing the fleet will be retired!
Wonder when that decision was made.
I believe that was part of the contract with Lockheed....
