Atheists are not the problem disgusting immoral fools are. I'm an atheist but I will still fight for religious peoples right to be religious but you guys keep pushing us normal atheist away like we are demons or some shit and pretty soon you guys won't have anyone but yourselves to fight with you. Again atheists are not the fucking problem

Same. They are conflating atheists with anti theists and satanists

BlackLivesMurder 3 points ago +3 / -0

They are feeding into the bullshit. They need to realize mental cases are the real problem.

I'm not pushing anyone. Removing God from our schools and public places has caused Our Country to decline in my opinion.

3
BlackLivesMurder 3 points ago +4 / -1

In my opinion that's not the issue.

That's not it, at all. Atheists aren't removing god from schools, or anywhere else. It's the Marxist ideology that cannot abide competing ideologies that is removing religion and family values.

Marxism is destructive to stable, healthy societies because stable, healthy societies will never consider a Marxist based ideology.

Honest atheists who actually study the origins of scientific method and development in different fields have to concede that the Church was essential in bringing the science forward. In fact, the list of Catholic clergy who have been prominent scientists is remarkable.

It's easy to see who uses atheism as an identity.

Antitheists and atheists are very different people

36 year old Atheist here. For me, the problem with Religions is that they were created in a time when people knew far less about everything than we do now, and by people who knew far less than we do. They are attempts at making sense of reality sans good data. I'm not militant however ( unless it comes to Islam, which should really be destroyed) and how now issue with the Christian faith.

So you aren't Atheist, you are Ignostic, welcome aboard. Religions were created by idiots with no understanding of the universe or basic hygiene, and we are going to follow and believe their description of "God"? They couldn't conceptualize fusion reactions and gravity, but sure, we'll just keep following their prehistoric concept of the creator of all existence.

The problem isn't a lack of religion in society, it's a lack of truth.

phuckles 1 point ago +1 / -0

Well, I'm an Atheist in the sense that I don't subscribe to the doctrines of any deity. I suppose I would be technically agnostic.

1
raggedyman74 1 point ago +1 / -0

There it is tho... "God" the creator doesn't necessarily have to be a deity, that's prescribing to preexisting religious concepts. Something created everything, if that something was a massive explosion from one dimension into another, well, God is an inter-dimensional explosion. Man is too dumb, and greedy, to fully conceptualize the "creator" of all existence.

phuckles 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's one thing to believe in a creator God, and another thing entirely to say one knows what it wants one to do, say, and think, and how to behave. That is...quite a leap.

When the Israelites believed AND fought for God, they were unstoppable.
Eventually they stopped truly believing and the temple itself became corrupt in its own ways; They then lost the support of God, were scattered to the winds and God started trying to find others.

When the Catholics followed God and were willing to fight for their beliefs, they were unstoppable. Christianity itself even took the mighty Vikings. Eventually they stopped believing as the church itself became corrupted by the influence of power. And thus the Church was splintered by those wanting reform, and became an entity who existed, but had lost all its authority.

When the United States was young, and the people followed God and were willing to fight for their beliefs, they were successful, eventually becoming unstoppable. Then the people stopped believing, and lost the will to fight... And then the OP's image happened.

History doesn't repeat itself, all those things happened differently enough, but it does rhyme...
Remind me why humanity keeps repeating all the same mistakes expecting the outcome to be different each time?

While I am Christian, it’s important to know that atheism now has NOTHING to do with just ‘not believing in God’ anymore. Anti-God communists hijacked it ages ago, and now the atheists are lumped in with slavering, God-hating, West-hating, totalitarian, screeching, infanticide-loving, fat or soy noodle liberal feminist NPCs.

It’s not the same.

I'm an Atheist, but it's definitely a legitimate concern. I was listening to a podcast with Brett Weinstein and Peterson and they discussed this briefly. Basically they were taking about how the morality of Religion has been replaced with the pseudo-morality of ideology and ism's. It was very interesting.

i'm not an Atheist.i'm just not religious at all.i don't care.and no i'm not some tattoo covered lizard person or whatever.

1
ENVYNITAZ [S] 1 point ago +3 / -2

one needn't be 'religious' to understand God exists

2
SLxTnT 2 points ago +3 / -1

Believing that God exists is a theist. An atheist is someone who doesn't believe in God. An antitheist is someone who is opposed to the belief of God. Not being religious is an atheist.

I'm an atheist. I don't believe in any god, nor do I care what others believe in on 1 condition. Don't push your religious beliefs onto others. It's the same philosophy that I use with the LGBT stuff. Doesn't matter to me unless you start forcing others to change their life to accommodate you.

1
ENVYNITAZ [S] 1 point ago +2 / -1

i did not push anything

God Bless

2
SLxTnT 2 points ago +2 / -0

Never said you did. Only countered your point that "one needn't be 'religious' to understand God exists" would make someone a theist and not an atheist.

I don't think it's so much religion or abandoning god. Look at the least religious countries and states in the US: Czech Republic, New Hampshire. They seem to be alright. It's more of a communist culture and mental illness that's causing the image on the right. Atheism alone is pretty harmless.

I am a Christian believer, but I think this also affects atheists, in the end they indirectly believe in someone superior, and now they will have to "worship" the gods of the globalist elite.

Like Christians, atheists do not want to be imposed on whom to worship and who not

The pictures on the right is the CR/Intersectional nut jobs that took over atheism and called it atheism+. One of the biggest flaws of atheism is that as a group the only shared belief is "god doesn't exist". So when the CR people showed up they latched onto the kids being kicked out of religious homes and built up from there. There was really no way for atheists as a group to defend against a machine like CR that so readily devours everything it touches. I would even argue the atheist movement was too naive but that's another argument.

The major issue that posts like this don't cover is the argument of which god. This is key when talking about theism vs atheism (I'll leave anti-theist alone for this argument). If you say that only god will fix things, the next question is which god? Because we know that religious groups can and will kill each other to end up being right. So you're back to the beginning of your argument about what defines morality between groups of people. It's an argument as old as society and in our age we've got things like the bill of rights, constitution, and a slew of laws that are enforced by police/judges. They're secular in nature and allow disparate groups to agree to a common set of laws to keep society working despite arguments about who's faith is correct.

If you're implying that I'm a shill, I'm not. Just remarking on the fact that there haven't been a lot of them lately.
