I grew up in Portland, lots of great memories. Sadly between Governor Brown and Mayor Wheeler the place has been completely surrendered to antifa and radicals. I hate to say this but it's no sweat off my brow if the place burns to the ground. It will set an example for the country for what a shithole you become when there is no punishment for complete lawlessness.
I saw the same shit happen down in Santa Monica ~20 years ago. Then it took over the Bay Area. Now it's up in Portland and Seattle.
Unfortunately, as California goes, so goes the United States. I just wish that when people fled these states, they stopped voting for the same failed policies. Seriously, you left California because of super crazy prices, taxes, homeless on the street, and government telling you when you can pee. Don't fuck up your new place.
I don't-- they condoned and supported the system that has destroyed them. 'Cause, "Muh booty-ful, progressive city." The only way you get a true representation of what kind of a shithole it's really like is by coming here yourself. Everything online STILL reads like a vacation brochure travelogue.
It's really a problem if you go to the city proper, basically the Pearl or Hollywood districts. Everything has boards on the windows because Antifa keeps busting them. But, homeless are on the street everywhere.

2: no one who has been murdered is a person of quality
