The Chad Burmese military vs the virgin US military

Seriously though, this is such an unbelievably based move. They are not only using their power to kick these NGO fronts out and bringing legal action against them, they are actually seizing the money for themselves. More than likely will be laundered through corrupt officers and their civilian allies, but so what? Graft like that is way less corrosive to a society than the sort of shit Soros was planning, plus using your power to help friends is what politics is all about.

Btw, did you guys know that after Ukraines new government was formed in 2014, there was a massive corruption investigation into various political groups and the Obama admin put pressure on them to NOT investigate a Soros and Obama affialted group? https://thehill.com/opinion/campaign/435906-us-embassy-pressed-ukraine-to-drop-probe-of-george-soros-group-during-2016

And asia has REALLY good reason to hate Soros considering he is responsible for the 1997 Asian finacial crises.

ELI5 guys, are we supporting or not supporting the Junta? All their moves seem to be in line with what we believe in..

Damn good question.

The problem is ... with the state of 'journalism' these days it's literally impossible to get a real feel for what's actually going on or not.

We know that the cops in Myanmar recently arrested 200 peaceful protestors, and that there have been deaths.

But we also know that in the US the media reported full scale riots which caused billions of dollars in damage, destroyed countless businesses, and resulted in an unknown number of deaths, injuries, and rapes as 'mostly peaceful'.

We also know that in Hong Kong the CCP absolutely attacked peaceful protests for no good reason.

I really can't tell what's going on.

The junta are horrible towards the people. Hundreds of protesters have been killed in recent months. If the burmese people had guns then junta would have been gone a long time ago. They dont have the support of the people, you should not either support them iether. What moves are you talking about? Have you seen the state of the country? They took money from soros great! The next day they sent police out with orders to shoot unarmed protesters.

Grorge soros is a bad man but please don't praise the Myanmar military. They are slaugthering there own population currently becuase the people dare to stand up against military. They have also been letting chinese companys bleed the country dry of natural resourses for decades now.
