Immigration has never been about helping others, it has always been about helping yourself. You take the smartest people you can from all over for your benefit. That's why poor nations stay poor. Intelligent people that are born there emigrate to rich countries which are more than happy to take them.

The best way to help them would be to stop immigration so they have to build wealth where they were born. But that's not profitable for you nor is anyone as righteous as he says he is about wanting to end world poverty. Everyone would much rather take all the IQ he can get foe himself and his community, who cares about others.
