I had heard about TheDonald prior to it being taken off of Reddit but I didn't join specifically because I had heard and seen many times that Reddit was controlled by egalitarian Marxists. So I stayed far away from it. So for me it was good that TheDonald got kicked off of Reddit, otherwise I never would have been able to participate.
Similar reasoning follows for why I have never made a Faceborg or Twatter account. In fact here is a short story. I've been on the Internet since before HTML even existed. In the early days of Windows there was a proto social media client known as ICQ from Mirabilis, domiciled in Israel.
I quickly saw what they were doing to covertly data mine their clients, so from that point forward I swore off of those types of platforms because I foresaw them being used for all things bad.

Cool. I started with reading the DOS manual and only did simple qBasic stuff, Excel macro coding. So I saw data mining but not to your scale. I know enough to know I don’t know shit and the government is never here to help.
