The 10th Amendment allows for Secession.

Jefferson Davis, president of the new Confederate States of America, argued that the legal basis for secession could be found in the Tenth Amendment to the Constitution. That amendment had said that any power not delegated to the federal government by the states, and not prohibited to the states by the Constitution, remained a right of the states or the people. The Constitution is silent on the question of secession. And the states never delegated to the federal government any power to suppress secession. Therefore, secession remained a reserved right of the states.

I agree about the right to secession here. It’s just that thing that they were seceding for was for something that was unconstitutional even despite it having turned into a common place practice—slavery. We see how that sorted itself out.

There could be direct analogies made here regarding Dems’ current desire to make election fraud a common place and acceptable practice and the solution here is probably the same too.

8
cryogen 8 points ago +9 / -1

Obviously the South seceded for slavery. But the North went to war to prevent secession, not to end slavery.

8
Catchasegnome 8 points ago +8 / -0

What a great fucking response. In all the millions of conversations about this I've seen, this is by far the shortest, most nail on the head point I've seen. Great rhetoric and also happens to be true.

Go write a book you genius.

None of this is sarcasm, in case that's not clear.

6
XlDEN 6 points ago +6 / -0

Right. The Emancipation Proclamation said that any state that returned to the Union by Jan. 1, 1863 could keep their slaves (along with the Northern slave holding states who were exempt from the Proclamation.)

Col. Allen West is destroying Tim's uninformed world view. This guy is great. He's just reasonable and logical and easy to understand. He's not even hostile about it.

50
Animator 50 points ago +50 / -0

West is AMAZING, and the GOP establishment HATES his guts. That tells you pretty much all you need to know.

I first heard West speak when Obama was still in office and just thought, damn, this guy could absolutely mop with the floor with Obama in a debate and in a fist fight, haha.

I hope we can get West to replace that pathetic weasel Abbott and get Texas back on the right track, before it's too late.

Secession is just a band-aid. The problem isn't the globalists\communists in control of DC, they're the symptom. The problem is people are too self-absorbed with their own lives. Parents aren't raising their kids, they letting the state raise their kids. Pastors are cucked and refusing to lead their congregations and a lot of pastors are saying there's no spiritual differences between conservative and leftist. People aren't being social in their neighborhood and having political conversation, so the majority of politics a normie hears about us on CNN or NBC.

Hopefully all that isn't the case for most people here, but it definitely is the case for most normies, which is the problem. Seceding may push the clock back several decades, but the countdown to the next communist revolution is going to continue, secession or no secession, as long as people continue being self-absorbed and anti-social. If you aren't active in your family, and your church, and your community and influencing them towards freedom them all the other communist are going to continue to spread throughout your communities and the eventually to wherever the post-secession government is.

DuelPorpoise 10 points ago +10 / -0

There’s a solution (multiple actually), the biggest is one one we gave up with as a nation but abandoned due to universal suffrage and the income tax.

Before both of those, our early government could only collect property taxes and only property owners could vote.

Yeah, that’s right, if you didn’t pay federal taxes, you couldn’t vote in federal elections. The founders were wise, they knew the inverse of “no taxation without representation”, that is, plainly said, “no representation without taxation” is also true.

This is key for fixing many of today’s problems. You want to live off the welfare system? Fine, but if you take in more than you put in, you lose your vote and those who are giving you your chosen lifestyle will be the only ones who get to say what it will be like.

This will stop the runaway snowball of voting for more prosperity and reinsure the rights of the actual workers who benefit society over the leeches. If you’re a Politician with this in place, you can’t easily buy votes with benefits without risking the loss of the voters you’re trying to Court. This also cubs the negative effects of immigration, if you’re undercutting workers wages, you’re not being taxed as much and odds are you’ll be drawing in more benefits. if your here illegally, your not taxed at all. Bam, the demorats plans of importing votes is seriously nerfed.

The second is the banning of federal grants and interest free payouts and the like, to any group government or organization in or outside of the us, if there is a surplus, or budget allotment for money, then it has to go back to the states, counties cities etc. at an equal rate it was taxed, so if LA counts for 1% of all federal taxes, then LA get back 1% of the surplus federal funds or spending.

Third, term limits for political charities, non profits and even for profit organizations as well as a ban on salaried and hourly wages for everyone who works for a non profit, also a ban on “businesses” who solely work for such organizations. These organizations tend to become cancerous after giving out the first paychecks and steady jobs to its workers, which switches focus from their original goals to the preservation of their own jobs over all outcomes, including success in their original goals.

3
basedvirginian 3 points ago +3 / -0

That makes too much sense, therefore your point is invalid.

7
RustedRage 7 points ago +7 / -0

Several decades is pretty fucking helpful.

6
TheMemeSpiceMustFlow 6 points ago +6 / -0

Only if people change their behavior, if you don't then it's not helpful at all, just selfish. If your only goal is freedom now and fuck the future then you're no better than people with the free stuff now and fuck the future attitude.

1
TheThreeSeashells 1 point ago +1 / -0

It's not a band-aid. We know how to fix and prevent most of the problems caused by the Left. Things the forefathers didn't or couldn't imagine. Ultimately, electoral college-style voting for statewide elections would be mandated by each state, preventing large cities from running entire states. That alone would deal a serious death blow to the Left who would lose a ton of power in one fell swoop. It's a fu*&ing disgrace that only one assemblyman in Texas has even floated this idea.

-2
H_Guderian -2 points ago +13 / -15

No it's not. The blue islands will burn and fail in a very short time. The red states/counties produce EVERYTHING of value in this country. When the red states/counties leave and take their money with them the blue islands will have nothing of value to sustain their disastrous policies. They will have to import everything. It will be glorious to watch the "smartest people in the world" completely collapse and fail under their own weight.

2

Nope. We are leaving tyranny. The people voted and made thier choice known for Trump, and it was usurped by trickery and sedition.

The problem is that there is no getting it back. In stealing the election, the people who stole it cannot ever let it return from fear of prosecution.

Just as the colonists had no voice in the Kings policies and 'suceeded' from the Commonwealth, our only way out is the same. Independence & our own Sovereignty - a "New America".

The colonists formed their own country and prospered. Those that wanted to remain in the Commonwealth left and went north to the nearest Commonwealth territory, Canada, which land is still the property of the monarch.

32
TheMutualist 32 points ago +36 / -4

We don't need to secede.

Just kick them out. If NYC, Detroit, Chicago, LA, Seattle, and SF left - we'd have 15 million fewer Democrats - most importantly, the far left Democrats and Marxists would be gone.

We could also work out a program to get leftists to move to different countries that they seem to opine as paradises.

Imagine how much progress the country could make if 15 million of the worst people just left us the fuck alone.

28
NADSAQ 28 points ago +28 / -0

I don’t want the leftists to “live here” anymore.

Put the emphasis wherever you like. Option one is exile.

It’s because he refused to acknowledge and talk about certain things. The last two months he’s been confused how Biden can do all these things and how people could have voted for him. I think he’s just afraid to talk about the fraud and avoids it at all costs

15
Cicicici 15 points ago +16 / -1

Yea he talks tough about standing up to YouTube but the dude makes a dime on their website so I’m sure he’s scared of getting kicked off. It’s unreal that we live in a world where suggesting that there was fraud in an election will get you banned from a website...and the left thinks that it’s A ok.

15
DaayTerkErJerbs 15 points ago +15 / -0

I think he realizes he's in a shitty position. Not willing to give up youtube cash till he has an adequate backup in place to sustain an continue to grow his operation. Probably why he's pushing his website an membership so much so he can finally give youtube the finger without crippling everything he built. Demonetization was a massive road block for a lot of creators on the way up that didn't have the reserves to push forward anyways so quite a few shifted to youtube appropriate content instead of the direction they were previously going in order to keep youtube bucks coming.

8
TheMutualist 8 points ago +8 / -0

No, the left does not think talking about election fraud is worthy of being banned.

They think being conservative is worthy of being murdered. Banning is just a temporary compromise.

2

The left has always been extremely authoritarian the press just runs cover for them.

Allen West for Texas Governor!!!

4
Urusovite 4 points ago +4 / -0

I love Allen West, he's great. But he's not confrontational. I think our governor needs to be more radical than him to undo what Abbott has done and also fight off the left. West would be a good peace-time governor for maintaining that peace and golden age.

5
MAGAsJustBegun 5 points ago +6 / -1

I feel you. That's how I feel about Rand Paul and Trump. Rand Paul would be a great "peace time" president, Trump is the choice for WAR TIME president!

I know Rand isn't always so popular here... But u still support him, and LOVE Ron Paul!

Ron Paul was the first time I woke up to bogus media, and I was 13 or so at the time.

1
Barbs 1 point ago +1 / -0

Uh... you might want to rethink your opinion on West not being confrontational.

Dude was discharged “less than honorably” from the army, for discharging a firearm next to a combatant’s head during an interrogation.

I think he has the ability to be confrontational when necessary, lol.

2
Urusovite 2 points ago +2 / -0

I'm talking politically and he's much older now. So no you might want to rethink that. We need someone like DeSantis who does as he pleases regardless of the press. We need someone who won't try and make sure his advisors and fellow GOP members approve. West will do those things because that is the man he is today. It's not a bad trait, but it's not what we need right now in Texas. We need radical change to reverse the damage being done. West wouldn't ship off illegals to blue states. A radical leader just might and have the NG line the Southern border wall too.

SECESSION OR SLAVERY

WHAT IS YOUR CHOICE?!

https://TNM.me - Texas Nationalist Movement

https://RedStateSecession.org

https://RedCountyRevolt.com

Everything except secession is now a pointless waste of time!

Without secession, we are under the boot of the communists! They control the media, the academia, and all major online platforms. They won stole the House, Senate, and the Presidency. They already consistently win the popular vote. They will end the Electoral College, import tens of millions of low-IQ moochers (especially to Texas), add DC & PR statehood, and have total political control!

For starters we need political migration to Republican-majority counties: ideally in solid-red states, and ideally not landlocked. Buy up all the land, vote out all the commies, and do Gandhi-style non-violent resistance until we are free!

Once the dam cracks, secession will take off all over the world (especially Russia, China, etc). Down with globalism, down with all empires, all power to Individual Rights and local communities between which people can vote with their feet! When governments compete, brains and capital flow towards greatest economic freedom, socialism runs out of other people's money, and LIBERTY SHALL PREVAIL!

And Tim Pool makes his money by sitting on a fence and grifting other fence sitters; his whole brand is an appeal to moderates who think they’re the most “rational” and “logical” of all by being this semi-open book type, without ever actually having their own opinion on anything.

I can respect him from a business perspective, but that’s it. A fence sitter in 2021 is sad. I wish it didn’t have to be like that, but that’s the state of affairs. This is clown world reality we’re dealing with.

2
RustedRage 2 points ago +3 / -1

He's not genuinely a fence sitter. He's a shrewd, but morally bankrupt businessman. He want to keep extracting viewership from non leftists while appeasing his YouTube masters and avoid being seen as uncool by Joe Rogan.

Well said. The “man” doesn’t have the courage to taint his beanie image with his own thoughts.

Appreciate that man. That’s a phrase I haven’t heard before...and well, I’m going to take it now going forward lol. English is cool like that

Tim isn't terrible as news sources go.

I wish he could be more consistent. Lack of consistency tends to demonstrate a lack of core principles. He seems to be developing them slowly so who knows. Could be great someday.

8
SimPilot 8 points ago +9 / -1

One of the best shows ever for Tim.

7
Sigma 7 points ago +7 / -0

I beg to differ.

9
randomusers239874 9 points ago +10 / -1

I'm not a huge Alex Jones fan, but he was great during those interviews, and Tim was such an asshole. Michael Malice was pretty cool in that interview as well. It's like dude Alex Jones is on your show, have some fucking fun talking about crazy conspiracy theories that probably have some kernel of truth to them.

RustedRage 4 points ago +5 / -1

He was an absolute dick to AJ. I'm not a huge AJ fan, but he treated him as sub human.

7
Moniie 7 points ago +7 / -0

We need to start a campaign to get West to run for governor. The swamp is taking over Texas. Everyone go to his social media and bombard him 😭

SpaceForceZulu 7 points ago +13 / -6

Repost: Why the fuck would we secede? Ignorant. This is our Country, not theirs. Kick those faggot communists out, with rifles as needed. WE control the means of production, WE control the most privately owned weapons of any people in the known universe, WE control the know-how that built this great Country. Getting real close to pushing skilled men past their breaking point. When they do this to enough military men who they spent years training to kill, they might not like how they respond. They're not the only ones who can ignore civility and start breaking traditional cordiality. Death to Commies.

Take back our Country, we’re the last bastion of freedom. These Statists can go take over Venezuela, I’m keeping what my fathers before me built.

14
deltch 14 points ago +15 / -1

Self preservation, we must protect the constitution however possible. Other states will follow if Texas secedes.

-4
SpaceForceZulu -4 points ago +2 / -6

How does seceding from the constitutional republic protect the constitution? Are you guys being purposely stupid?

5
deltch 5 points ago +5 / -0

I recognize you might be especially dense, but please try to recognize that the socialists and communists that control the US now have no interest in the constitution unless it furthers their agenda. The idea of Texas seceding preserves the constitution because it frees the state from tyrannical control, if other states join Texas alongside it then we can form a new union that could serve as a truly constitutional republic.

-3
SpaceForceZulu -3 points ago +2 / -5

I might be dense? Listen up motherfucker, I don't give a fuck what the communists think about following the Constitution- bottom line is that's the law of the land and we can either defend it en masse or run off like little pussies and let them have the best organization of governed men to have ever existed. We already conquered the entire fucking planet 3 times to form a more perfect union, why would we abandon what we've built? Boo hoo we have some interlopers, we better put our heads in the sand and take our toys home, that really sounds like the TEXAS WAY!

Love Texas all you want, but you aren't shit without the support of the rest of the great states in this nation. Look at the election map, it's a TINY percentage of our land mass that has been infiltrated by the Statists.

Pull your head out of your ass, your state is damn near as blue as CA these days if you want to play by your counting rules. You think Austin is going to get on with your new ultra right Union? You guys practically let Beto get elected and you think you've got a snowball's chance in hell of getting on independentatly... Texas ain't the state it was during the days of the Rangers and Indian wars- your government has been sold out just the same as the rest of our states have. Take it back or become a serf.

3
deltch 3 points ago +3 / -0

Listen up motherfucker, I don't give a fuck what the communists think about following the Constitution- bottom line is that's the law of the land and we can either defend it en masse or run off like little pussies

Your 'laws of the land' mean nothing if your GOP politicians aren't willing to fight for it. The fact that they let the 2020 election be stolen should show you how deluded it would be to think you'd have any rights with accordance of the law.

You guys practically let Beto get elected

Except he didn't get elected. Leftists would have no power to take Texas if we seceded because we would be able to close our borders to the rest of the country.

You think Austin is going to get on with your new ultra right Union?

Literally the only blue parts of TX are Austin and the other major cities, you better believe they'll fall in line if the state secedes from the union. Maybe you should actually know what you're talking about before rageposting online.

-1
SpaceForceZulu -1 points ago +1 / -2

A) This isn’t the GOP’s problem to solve, they’re complicit and also in need of removal. B) You’ve already been infiltrated. C)Literally the only blue parts of USA are Austin and the other major cities, you better believe they’ll fall in line if the people remove the fraudulent politicians from office. Maybe you should actually read about the founding of our country and some population statistics before you push people down the ignorant path of secession. What do you think the rest of the aggressive world leaders are going to do when the US can no longer present a unified defense against their attacks? You’re a nincompoop.

10
SaltyHamSlam 10 points ago +11 / -1

How is it possible to take back control of this ship? Secession is the only way when the majority of the country leaves we will have all the power. Dems have very little actual land area.

-1
Chopblock -1 points ago +2 / -3

You can mobilize to secure a national election a lot easier than mobilizing the force necessary to secure your brand-new country against a hostile U.S. military and their U.N. allies.

Why the fuck would we secede?

Because I have no desire to live under the rule of the Libtards, nor force my will upon them, either is tyranny.

-1
SpaceForceZulu -1 points ago +1 / -2

Forcing them to follow the constitution isn’t tyranny. When people crash your party and start trashing your house, you don’t move into a fucking tent, you kick them out.

1
Chopblock 1 point ago +2 / -1

Also, why the hell would we let them have most of our deep-sea ports?!!

2
RustedRage 2 points ago +2 / -0

How about election fraud?

3
MyThrowaway1776 3 points ago +3 / -0

Tim Pool was the only person I ever saw covering the election rigging (aka "fortifying") during the pandemic before the 2020 election.

Not sure if I just missed others doing so, but Tim was pointing out how mail voting was a scam before Trump did.

-1
RustedRage -1 points ago +1 / -2

Before, but not after. After the election was stolen he doggedly declared he saw zero evidence of election fraud.

1
MyThrowaway1776 1 point ago +1 / -0

Nope, you are lying.

He said it was going to be rigged to build credibility, then took a hard 180 after the election was actually stolen. "People must have really hated Trump" is his explanation of the results.

1
MyThrowaway1776 1 point ago +1 / -0

He said that as a possible explanation after saying it looks like they rigged mail in ballots and didn't do signature verification.

Fuck you ya democrat faggot niggger,.

Wow, never realized that Allen West was a walking library, damn. Just like Larry Elder but doesn't talk quite as fast.

I wanted Allen West to run for president in 2016, but we were graced with GEOTUS’ candidacy so I was happy

This is good shit going on right now, for sure! Col. West is fantastic!

5

Great episode. Col. West is as based as they come. You can really tell that he’s on a much higher level than Tim or Ian. Effortless.

1

Ian's not there to be smart.

I feel like seceding is a mistake that benefits China.

5
TearsMakeTheBestAmmo 5 points ago +6 / -1

Good chance it will. When the coasts crumble under their rampant failed policies they will need a bail out from somewhere. It will be a prime opportunity for the Chicoms to get a foothold.

5
Chopblock 5 points ago +7 / -2

There’s no mid- to late-game plan for secession that makes any sense. It’s a bunch of simpleton logic and catchy phrases wrapped into an emotionally-sastifying futile and ultimately symbolic gesture, bound to fail harder the more it succeeds.

Just like angry & random violent outbursts, divisive identity-group victim blaming, and defeatist nihilism, it’s exactly the type of thing the Globalists WANT us to do, rather than the WINNING strategy that Trump is following: Block and absorb all the RINO’s grassroots funds, take over the Republican Party with MAGA candidates, attack the failed system mercilessly on key issues, and harness the power of an army of ‘pedes to maneuver into formation when the time is right.

2
AtTheInauguration 2 points ago +2 / -0

Trump is a fucking pussy and you're an idiot if you think that his "gee guys lets just take over the GOP" plan is going to work. Just keep trusting the plan and jerking off why don't you.

Trump was the most powerful person on the planet and already THE LEADER of the GOP. Why do you think that taking back what we already had is going to result in any different of a result?

1
Chopblock 1 point ago +2 / -1

You don’t need to call me names, son; I appreciate your fighting spirit, hell, I’ve said some of the same things myself. But I’m not here just to fight, I came to fucking win. Now, Why don’t you spend some time setting a win condition for your own question. First you need to answer what DID we have?

Seriously. Think about that for awhile, don’t throw back some knee-jerk response. Think about it until you’re past indignation, past outrage, shock, anger, fear, grief and fury.

What DID we have, what DO we have, and what WILL we have?

The answer to all three is the same.

2
IowanMaga 2 points ago +2 / -0

At least this sounds like a plan.

3
TakenusernameA 3 points ago +3 / -0

That and secession doesnt get rid of the problem, which will follow us no matter where we go. We need to stop running away from our issues.

2
Meddlesom 2 points ago +2 / -0

The balkanization of the United States is part of the endgame for globalism. We have to fracture and fall for the new world order to fully take over.

1
shadows_of_the_mind 1 point ago +2 / -1

How would secession even work, like would all nuke silos just become property of the New Texan Republic?

That was a great show. Adam West is a real man who knows his history and why America was a great nation. I’m glad people like him still exist even though we are too far gone to fix anything. Once his generation is gone who will be so wise?

America is no longer a country, but rather a gathering place for the worlds poor to reap the success of smart Americans and the worlds rich to play god, how would starting up another county governed under a rule of law applied equally to all be leaving what is basically a non existent state?
