I am trying to make sense of it. It makes no sense for them to fake this. If they were going to fake something they might as well make him look competent and more willing to answer questions. I am guessing there is some camera angle trickery, but I am no camera expert.
I'd be willing to bet that he is afraid to show his face in public. There aren't enough secret service on earth to protect him from the potential number of threats he faces just moving through the open world.
Maybe they accidentally got something classified into the shot, so they quickly whipped up some footage that remixes some layers of the real shot with some modified background footage to remove the classified stuff. That's the only thing I can think of that explains why anyone would bother green screening such a meaningless piece of footage.
I think it's a combination of shit quality video, zoom, and funny angles plus overactive imaginations. I've watched the memeology big that's got like 3 angles on slow speed and compared where he's standing and how the booms are moved and how he moves in relation. I'm 95% sure this is real.
