Only explanation for faking it that way. The focus of the camera is on biden in the midground. How can the grey boom be blurry (not furry) whilst still being on the plane of focus, that is required so biden can put his hand infront of it? Bidens hand would have the same amount of distortion.
It's impossible for Bidens hand to go infront of the light grey boom if the second angle is to be believed.

Agreed. I watched both angles, and the boom locations are different. Proportions are wrong, and distance is irregular.
Nonidea why they would do this, but it's weird.

Those booms are on long poles. The camera is on an angle and it appears the booms are actually to Biden’s right and are moving around a bit.
The other aspects that look weird can be explained by video compression.
