The tone of the makeup they use, has a lot to do with the scene and lighting on the set, and the cameras exposure they are using. Then they take that and adjust for your skin tone to make it look natural for the film. A lot of science goes into it.

I was confused at first because didn't realize it was even same person.

I mean, she's an actress, or was, even if just an extra. This kind of happens. Even to the white ones and I am sure the other races as well.

And if you watch her IG on it, she was playing a younger version (for a photo) of lead actress so of course her skin tone had to be a closer match to the person who was getting paid the big bucks. It wasn't the studio that failed her, it was her agent. And she couldn't have walked out but seems the money must have been better than standing up to her (false) convictions.

So I auditioned to be an extra for a TV show set in the 1950s, but they made me change my dyed orange braids and put on makeup! DAS RAYCISS!

I don't give a fuck. Hollywood faggots can do whatever they want in the shitty media they make. I'll not be watching it.

This seems like more "controversy advertising"... I bet this show just came out, or there's a new season. This is the new advertising tactic du jour. Just do some "woke" or "anti-woke" shit and we're all supposed to come running and gather around talking about their "product". No thanks.

Too many black people in a Lovecraft "inspired" show. I agree with her. She probably shouldn't be there.

I was interested by the name, but the one trailer that pretty much just screamed "WE WUZ KANGZ" completely turned my off. It's like they know it's a semi-popular property that sometimes involves "lost history", but failed to understand that the horror aspect of the unknown was the entire hook.
