Yep.

Our forefathers didn’t have representation, but they had their wallets. Every time Parliament or the Crown made a stupid move, they boycotted. And it worked, for a while, but eventually they got tired of that and decided to get serious. But that was also in response to England getting more serious.

It also took years. People don’t seem to understand that the Revolutonary War had its roots in the French and Indian War, but the Constitution wouldn’t be ratified for another 32 years.

People who advocate that we “do something” better understand that their children or grandchildren might grow up not knowing what a stable society is. We should exhaust every other solution before that one becomes an option.
