Yeah honestly, I think people use the term 'green screen' through lack of better terminology. Like you said, 'seems edited..'. It really does, but why (again like you said)..
I think this could be as petty as someone edited 'their' microphone in to the video just to show the boss that they were closer to the action. This would make more sense if it had the media organisation's name on it, but, it's the only logical reason I could think of whilst comparing the two angles
The microphones are not the only giveaway. As he's walking, just before he gets to the reporters, there's an unnatural shifting of bidens body in relation to the background. A trained eye can see it.. in fact, even an untrained eye can see it. It's reminiscent of bad space effects from the 1950's where the foreground object and the background object do not move together, and you can tell something's off and it looks fake. On the vid I saw, it was 9 seconds in, but that wasn't the original video.
There is definitely something wrong with these videos but why do a green screen from different angles? Maybe they're just trying to see how many people will ignore and/or attack anyone who questions an obviously decpetive piece of footage.

It's not a green screen. Seems edited in a way, but not a green screen.
Original footage edited.
The real question is why, but none of these 1000 posts discuss that, just claim it's a green screen when it's obviously not.

It looks composited to me.
Does anybody care? Who the fuck cares? We have a country to save.
Trying to squeeze Ws out of petty bullshit like this is not how you get Ws...
We need Donald to teach us how to win all over again
He moves like a robot.
Pretty amazing how his jacket cuff is both behind the boom in the lower and in front of the boom up top. His hologram is confused

(my reply from another comment, because I'm lazy)
