We just released an update which changes how we handle SSO, a full description of the changes will be posted in c/changelogs once the update is stable.

Please use this thread to notify of any issues with things like being logged out, being redirected to the old domain, etc. If you have a bug report, please also include what browser (ex. "Chrome") and version (ex. "89.0.4389.90") you're using, and whether you're using any privacy blocking extensions.

If you do get "logged out", it may not be as it appears. There's two options: for some browsers, you can wait a few seconds and you'll be automatically logged back in. If you aren't, then you can click the sign in button, and you may be immediately logged back in without having to re-enter any details. This would be the intended behavior for some privacy focused browsers and extensions, as well as some old browsers.

Yeah, that was one of the many issues that this update fixes.

I'm on mobile, iOS using Safari, and when I try to login, I just get directed to the actual file called "login" or "session" that it just offers to download that physical file to my device. You basically get stuck on that page and can't login. I can login on desktop fine. Mobile is broken.

  1. Hit site, press Sign In button
  2. Site sends you to "session" file that is offered to download to Files on iOS

Alternate:

  1. Hit "Create An Account" button, that loads fine
  2. Hit "Already have an account?"
  3. That redirects you to the same location as the Sign In button, flashes the login page and then redirects you to the "session" file that is offered to download and then gets you stuck again.

I've cleared all cache and cookies, doesn't change the behavior.

Same behavior here, except no file download, probably because I'm on iOS 12. Desktop Safari works fine.
