In the beginning though we were told a deadly virus was coming that could wipe out millions of people by last summer, but they were told they weren’t allowed to avoid it because they were “essential workers.”

I think it’s ok to make people heroes in that situation. But keeping up the charade once it’s obvious that this has been no worse than a bad flu season is where they are going wrong.

Labeling some people/jobs "essential" was all part of their propaganda campaign. Why would a Walmart worker be "essential" while someone who works at a mom and pop store lose their job. It was over the top and ridiculous. Those essential nurses and doctors making tictoc videos because they were bored and most of the hospitals were empty.

Many, many doctors treating Covid patients bravely spoke out and were censored. Those whistleblowers are the real healthcare heroes.
