Yeah, I see what all the "slippery slope" talk was back in the day. I'm a huge fan of individual liberties -- you have the liberty to love, fuck, or marry whomever you want. I couldn't care less if I tried, you do you. And I have the liberty to decide to what extent I'm going to play along with your worldview. The government should factor into exactly none of that. When gay marriage was the topic du jour, people were talking about the "slippery slope", which at the time I considered to be a delusion that somehow the LGBTQUIA+-JKLMNOP were going to come after their children next.
Down the slope, we see this shit. I've heard the phrase "the hill I'm willing to die on" plenty and have never really had to confront what that means. As a father of two, I can promise that the only way anybody would be giving puberty blockers to my children would be over my lifeless corpse and a pile of empty brass.
