How to understand this hypocrisy? The more technical and full answer lies in the beliefs of the Critical Race Theory religion. In part, it posits that any cultural values can be "valid" regardless of what they are, and more importantly, that white people are naturally imbued with power due to their skin color and thus are not allowed to hold (negative) opinions about other cultures. To hold such an opinion (like Muslims are homophobic) is seen as white supremacy. White people are only allowed to be critical of white-related identifiers (such as Christianity) in order to dismantle the white power structure.
For this critique to be valid, it would probably have to come from a Arab who is a homosexual. It would probably be seen as fair game then under Critical Race Theory.

So the rest of the chapter outlines Satan's various attacks on the woman(the Jews), on her son(Jesus), & on the remnant of her seed(Christians & Jews): "And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ," Rev 12:17.
That's why the Left doesn't attack Buddhists, nor Muslims, nor Hindus, nor other religions, only Christians & Jews.
