Easy. It’s because Islam is one of the Left’s sacred cows.

It doesn’t matter that by the Left’s own standards they should hate pretty much every aspect of it. It’s more about using it as a purity test, and if you fail it they’ll club you over the head with it and silence you.

It’s so obviously contradictory, but as we all know, if not for double standards the Left would have no standards at all.
