In Chapter 12 we see a figurative representation of history, a woman in heaven clothed with the sun & wearing a crown made of 12 stars. That's the Hebrews, today called Jews, who had 12 tribes. She gives birth to a son & the dragon then decides to go after & destroy them both. The dragon is Satan, who hates God & the people He uses to further His purposes on earth. So the rest of the chapter outlines Satan's various attacks on the woman(the Jews), on her son(Jesus), & on the remnant of her seed(Christians & Jews): "And the dragon was angry with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, who keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ," Rev 12:17.
That's why the Left doesn't attack Buddhists, nor Muslims, nor Hindus, nor other religions, only Christians & Jews. Our values, when forming the base of society, make society stable, prosperous, generous, caring, & wise, but not irresponsible, savage, wasteful, illogical, self-destructive, inhumane, & sickeningly hedonistic. Satan wants to destroy God's plan & that includes us. That is the answer to your question.
