I agree that if they gain a majority and hold enough positions of power they can take control, I just don't see them achieving that before the leftist totalitarianism overtakes western countries, where leftists already have almost complete control.

What you fail to see is that Muslims have a higher birth rate than either leftists or Christians nowadays.
If they are allowed to settle in - eventually they will win - they have lots of patience.
Lebanon used to be majority Christian - now the Muslims rule the place, for example.
