Sorry but I don’t think you’re correct. Measles killed More than 200k in 2019 alone due to outbreaks in regions where vaccination was low. Chicken pox is highly contagious but, yes, not among the most deadly. It kills about 1 in 60k cases.

Mumps is far deadlier than chicken pox. It kills about 5 per 1000 infected.

Vaccines have helped obliterate these and other diseases. Good sanitation is crucial to almost all infectious disease prevention. But vaccines play a critically important role too.
