Either way I'm not getting it. I'm just curious. None of this makes sense. Why can't vaccinated people go about their business? Since when does a non-vaccinated person pose a threat to one who has been vaccinated?

It is not a traditional vaccine.
It is an adenovirus modality which accomplishes the same thing as an mRNA vax but through a different process using DNA.
Again, only approved for Emergency Use Only.
Which type is the AstraZeneca one that's getting banned in 17 (iirc) countries so far? Thanks in advance.
Its an adenovirus based vaccine similar to the J&J vax
"The Oxford–AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine, codenamed AZD1222,[7] is a COVID-19 vaccine developed by Oxford University and AstraZeneca given by intramuscular injection, using as a vector the modified chimpanzee adenovirus ChAdOx1.[18]"
