I’m one of those cancer patients whose surgery was postponed indefinitely back in March 2020 due to COVID. After a strongly worded letter to the hospital and Texas Board of Medicine they rescheduled my surgery and cut out the tail of my tumor ridden pancreas. Thank God I’m Cancer free today, but what the fuck triage is that? My real cancer at high risk of metastasis is less urgent than keeping beds open in case people catch a cold?! My surgery had a survival rate of 98% for my age group, COVID is 99.8%. Using MSM statistic representation I was 10x more likely to die from the surgery than COVID, and you can imagine the odds of forgoing the surgery and letting the cancer grow if 2% death rate of which they’d be liable was given the green light.
Thanks man. I’m 35 and it was an eye opener for me in very many ways. I’m so thankful to God, my faith in Him, and my family. Without them this last year’s journey I’m not sure how I would have got through it. Any time some COVID Nazi tries to grief me I simply ask them to explain to my two young daughters why their Dad needs to let his cancer keep growing in case some people get a cough. Not had a single response in words yet. It’s usually just a gaping jaw and silence.
These people that envelop themselves in the media narrative think themselves compassionate but fail to see the difficulties and plights of those affected in ways outside what their television tells them.
Listen, you are a fucking strong young man and I am sure your girls are damn proud! Beating THAT monster. The cancer monster. God Bless. Listen, if.
