I agree, people prioritize things in strange ways. I always thought it was food and shelter at the top of the list but always secondary to your children's needs. After that some reasonable stuff like health care or a car to get to work or something. Maybe investing in your prospects by like.. doing free training courses instead of playing xbox. Lots of people out there with $800 phones and Supreme clothing looking for a handout. Strange world we're living in
Seen this "Supreme" logo around, like somebody scraped it off a gas pump and pasted it somewhere else. No longer surprised that someone is making a ridiculous fortune off laziness
I guess you could do it either way, I just bought the phone I've got outright for maybe $350 or something instead of spreading it out over payments since they usually charge some kind of interest or raise the price at the cost of financing. I'm sure I don't know or really care how people can afford frivolities while their kids are walking around in saggy dirty diapers. I see a lot women with their nails did and weaves on their heads driving new American cars on real world police but I would be surprised if they had any kind of retirement savings.
I will always have this one event stick with me - a few years ago my wife and I were in Costco (we have since cancelled our membership). We are in line behind this family that has two carts full of items. The kids are wearing the cheapest clothing you can find, like not even Walmart quality - I’m talking the shit you find at Goodwill that nobody else wants. The type of shirt you’d expect to have a picture of a butterfly on it and say “Bee” above the picture. The father is wearing the clothes that he wears at his construction or landscaping job. Covered in dirt and grime. The mom? Oh she has a fancy new purse, Apple Watch, iPhone, her nails are done. She is wearing extremely nice clothing. A massive contrast to the rest of the the family. The oldest kid is around 9 or so, and she’s translating what the cashier is saying from English to Spanish for her (assumed) parents. Guess who was using their Oregon Trail card...!
It’s always like this too. The kids are in rags, the dad is wearing his work clothes. The mom? Oh the mom is always wearing the nicest clothes out of the group, has all her fancy gadgets and accessories. Always paying with their welfare card.
Oh damn, shots shooted

My wife (latina, legal) worked in a building with WIC (the free milk thing).
She almost got fired for yelling at a lady picking up free milk in her new escalade and telling her she is making her people look bad.
Cities breed complacency.

If you need an epicac have a look at their pricing. $200 for a tacky t-shirt and they always sell out
A great way to spend your $1400
