My post was not critical of a border wall, it was critical of the quality and content of meme/message. I am a strong supporter of borders, including our southern wall. An armed wall, if need be. Always have been and will be.
That's very different than making insinuations and jokes about plugging illegals with a sniper rifle.
But it's not just randomly shooting illegals with a sniper rifle. It's shooting people who are in the act of trying to illegally cross the border.
This is an incredibly important distinction.
It's the difference between shooting someone when they are trying to rob you versus shooting them a week later. One is logical, rational and provides immediate action. The other is vindictive or vengeful.
If you try to cross the Israel border illegally, you will get shot. This isn't done just because it's a border but because of the threat involved with that border. It's why we have a southern border crisis but a substantially less problematic northern border.
You haven't justified your position at all here. What I understand of your position is that you are upset that someone would say drug dealers, human traffickers and some of the worst people in the world shouldn't be shot trying to enter the US. Am I understanding your position correctly?
