“Green screen” video

I’m no VFX expert, I just watch a lot of VFX breakdowns, and the quality is pretty bad so take this with a grain of salt.

1. The sky is overcast so cast shadows will be fairly light for smaller objects. There is a light cast shadow visible on the dark grey mic as Biden’s hand goes over it, it’s about as dark as the shadow cast by his head on his shoulder but looks “lighter” due to the darker color of the mic. These sort of shadows are often missed when making comps in film and are one of the most obvious VFX “tells”. It’s such a subtle detail that to me it disproves the whole idea to begin with.

2. As Biden approaches the mics he stops short and leans forward. This is due to the 6 foot rule obsessively followed by mask zealots and I’m thinking the boom mics were below for either a security or health related reason.

3. If you are going to green screen mics you wouldn’t choose the most difficult ones to comp in(those fuzzy mother fuckers) especially with such a “high risk” scenario, i.e. being discovered faking presidential content.

4. Since boom mics are usually above out of frame there would be absolutely no reason to comp them in visible at the bottom of the frame.

5. If Biden is comped in as badly as it appears there would more than likely be more errors than just his hands. However the mics look normal in front of his legs walking up.

6. The primary “evidence” can likely be easily explained by lens distortion. As he walks up we go from telephoto to wide angle. While I’m not sure of the exact focal length I do know that telephoto “compresses” the distance between objects and wide angle tends to distort it. So his hand may look closer to that mic than it actually is.

7. There is really no reason to do both a deep fake and a green screen comp as it just multiplies the potential for visible abnormalities.

8. This sort of thing would require the cooperation and sworn secrecy of everyone that appears in the shot which is unlikely.

The easiest way to “solve” this particular case is Occam’s Razor and the simplest explanation is that it is just more of the same weirdness we’ve seen since the election was stolen.

That being said, if people really want to prove this whole Biden is dead hypothesis then those in and around DC should go Biden spotting the same time the media rolls out.
