The purpose of committees is to gain info in order to craft legislation/gain support for legislation, educate the public to inform their voting, uncover problems/crimes in the executive branch. What's uncovered is the encourage reform or criminal investigations/charges. Congress has ZERO power to prosecute or file charges. Our FBI/DOJ/judicial system has been corrupt/politicized for a long time so duh, of course committee investigations didn't lead to more. Plus our media is equally corrupt so there was no real pressure/public out cry. "Nothing ever happens"? A jaw dropping amount of earth shaking things have happened dear Eyes Wide Shut. This past four plus years has seen a normie Great Awakening. Phase One of Drain the Swamp is lowering the water level so you can see what's been hidden. I read this and it is alarming. With most everyone in the government, 3 letter agencies and law enforcement in on it, it seems hopeless that anything will or could be done about it.

There should be some legal recourse for citizens on these issues. I believe that congressmen should be allowed to give citizens the right to vote on what should be done on large, controversial issues. Of course if Dominion is still around, what good would that do.

I did think about this. If the GOP was really interested in putting America first they would have fought tooth and nail to try and overturn an incredibly crooked and blatant election fraud. McConnell was fine when he wanted Trump to campaign for him but turned his back on Trump when he needed his support the most, along with the other RINOs in Congress. The GOP knew fully well what to expect if Joe Biden was inaugurated. It’s known to everyone on the planet that Joe has some issue with cognitive decline. Plus with what little campaigning he did he said he was going to raise taxes. In the debates he in essence said he was going to be putting many people out of work in Pennsylvania and elsewhere with the plans he had. He destroyed Trump’s successful legacy, most of it during his first month in office. But this was not unknown to the GOP. Now they want to set things straight but can’t because the Democrats own both houses of Congress plus the Oval Office. They let it happen because Trump wasn’t the only candidate to be cheated out of office. Now their hands are tied due to their own incompetence.
