Also agree!! Tranny men are disgusting, pedophiles with mental issues. I actually hate them bc of their entitlement to use the women’s aka children’s bathroom. This coming from a biological woman.
The sole thing I’m jealous about Europe is the wider range of manual transmissions. When I bought my Audi S3 I was pissed to find out they don’t even offer a manual in the US but do in EU. Luckily I didn’t have it too long and got my STI which is of course a manual.
Most Americans prefer an automatic for some reason. I prefer a manual because it gives you more control and actually gives you the feeling of driving the car. Plus it keeps you busy!
The other thing is a manual tranny option would likely make several cars and makes way, way more reliable in the US and Canada. Dodge auto trannies are infamous for being terrible. Dodge chargers, Journey or caravan auto, being a manual option would remove the most unreliable part of dodges.
Source: driven and owned lots of dodges and lots of other makes, and had to deal with repairs.
There are plenty of enthusiasts here. I had driven manuals all my life until they could no longer be easily found. You can still find them but usually its on an econobox or a clapped out mustang or something else stupid. I was looking for a manual Volvo S40 a while back and a few times the sales person told me it was a manual or it was listed as a manual but it was "manumatic". I had to start asking if it had 2 or 3 pedals to know for sure.
Our American measurement system is basically the LGBTBBQ+ equivalent where anything and everything can be a measurement. We got 'em all here! Things come in groups of 12, 3, or 5280. We have base-2 logarithms for measuring liquids and parts of an inch. And all our recipes use teaspoons and tablespoons. WTF are those?!
A lot of Americans agree the metric system is superior but culturally it is hard to change.
Most automatic cars have an ability to manually shift (without a manual clutch) these days. Honestly, I'd rather drive automatic since you can just go without having to think much about doing anything but gas, break, directions, steer. If you occasionally need a bit extra power, the shift mode at least allows you that extra level of control.
I confess I must concur.
Normies drive automatics, car guys drive standards
Yes!
Also, isn't it nice to know that most people these days don't even know how to use this, thus minimizing risk of theft?
Win! Win!
They'll just break a window, rip open the steering column, and destroy your clutch in the attempt.

I would be willing to accept a dual clutch auto in the sake of tolerance
I miss my stick. I still dont know what to do with my right hand while I'm driving.
Just things that come to mind.
Five speed is enough.
6 is better but 5 will do in a pinch.
Sorry that we cant get them? I accept your apology.
Manual transmission is superior, at least imho
I thought American like their automatics? How this "issue" looks?

i only own manual trannies.
My cars are manual, but I am definitely the exception these days.
S2000 with 6 speed and 3 motorcycles with 6 speeds each. Yeah I like to shift.
What kind of metric nonsense is this .... :)
Base(d) 10 "metric nonsense" my fren :P
Mind blown!

Machining in inches is the most ridiculous thing, I swear
"Metric system is nay" but "hey, let's do things in thousands of an inch" 😂
My reverse is on the other side but I still have 6 on my stick!
And Miss Doubtfire that film was great.

Standard elitists will of course disagree.
It's all about habit
I acquired my driver license on manual (requirement where I live) and was driving manual
Once I got into automatic transmission car once my right hand and left leg just felt awkward and too... inactive I guess?
Not all trannys have sticks
