I'm genuinely curious what software you're referring to that has a 'forward' or 'behind' option specifically tied to the motion tracking function that's separate of the layering order. I have never seen a layer placed above another layer set to follow a tracking mark get clipped unless there's another layer above that one where the software screws up the masking. And to add further complication, we have multiple angles of this event with the same situation; Biden gets too close and his layer overlays the mics and yet those same mics don't disappear behind anyone else's movement in the scene.
